www.tietokone.fi
- finnish computer magazines website with a small news service.

www.helsinginsanomat.fi
- a website of a daily newspaper of Finland's capitol Helsinki. Good news and keeps me updated to what's happening in the world. I also like the small weird news they have...gives me good laughs daily.

I don't really use any other because I enjoy reading these because they are in my mother language and they cover the basic news I need to stay up to date. If I'm in need of more specific news about some specific subject I go to some different sites. But these two sites give me good general news.

I think The Register and The Inquirer are terrific news sites. I love them because these two sites are always taking jabs at each other. They remain unbiased and extremely informative. I like them more than SlashDot sometimes because of those jabs. That's my fun sites category. Smile

For real world events & news...I visit the usual sites: CNN, Fox News, CBS News,
ABC News, BBC News. There are of course others like Reuters which is a huge and very reliable source of news. I doubt any of you share my interest in intellectually stimulating debates.

lol
I love a good argumented debate. But I have experienced some debates that turned into flame wars in no time.
Some people cannot take the fact that other people might have a different opinion as they have.

Furthermore washingtonpost dot com the mentioned reuters theregister.co.uk ap.org some dutch news sites bbc.co.uk.
blah blah blah

Is that not the site that claims the US and its allies are trying to establish the NWO (New World Order)? Every single time I view that site...I laugh. Smile I used to have this answering machine message to antagonise my friend who was paranoid. It said something to the effect, "If you're paranoid, don't bother even bother pressing 3 now, we already know who you are." Big Grin
